SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering expert services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency stated it can be alarmed with regard to the significant variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal from the Integrated Registration Outreach sassa status check Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your high amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office focused on service the area on a regular basis. The assistance issue designed for intervention experiences a superior influx of possible beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional means to allow the servicing of all consumers and raise usage of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
